Strapped In

Happy Thursday!

I feel like I’m still recovering from the Fourth of July Beach festivities, but hey at least I got a nice tan! #thestruggleisreal 😜

When I found this swimsuit online, I couldn’t wait to put this on and make a statement at the beach. I found the bottom part to be flattering, as they cover up the area I’m most self-conscious of—my stomach🙈. I loved the touch the straps on the bottom part and the lace up design of the top part gave to the other wise simple black swimsuit. Additionally, the halter is great protection against the sometimes violent waves.

Like I’ve said before, pairing my one-piece swimsuits with shorts is extremely easy to transition from day to night very quickly. Living in South Florida near the beach more often than not when I go to the beach, I tend to end up having to get ready quickly for the next spot with my friends.

Swimsuit: Something in the Water from Fashion Nova

Choker: Duo Y Diamond Choker from Irie Mi Collection

Summer is definitely a time for non stop fun, some cut-out bathing suits, and of course, for me, a little tanning. I’m here for the crazy tan lines and I can’t wait to see the designs on the runways for Swim Miami! What style of swimwear are you loving at the moment?
