The great thing about summer is that you can have more variety with your style and wardrobe due to the weather. Bright colors, denim, crop tops, and deep necklines are always on trend for the summer season.
A signature summer daytime look for most is a cute top with jeans. Check out how we styled this look below.
Since it’s usually 90 degrees (F) and hotter during the summer days in Florida, I prefer to wear looser pants that are a bit cooler. So I decided to pair this corset crop top from Femme Luxe with these wide-leg flare pants from Mistress Rocks. I also love the contrast of the loose casual look of the pants with the tight “leather” look of the top. They balance each other out without being too casual or too over the top.
Below are some of my favorite similar items to recreate this look:
Neon, bustiers, perspex – how many summer trends can I mash up into one look?! Not to be dramatic or anything, but this bustier from Femme Luxe – I’ll take one in every color, please. The fabric of the bustier is neoprene so it was super stretchy and comfy for the hot weather. You could also easily take this from a day to night look and create several different looks. I had to take advantage and accessorize my outfit with perspex everything. Can I tell you how long I’ve been trying to get my hands on this perspex belt?! It HAD to have the gold trim as well, so when I saw Luv B feature it, I immediately ordered it. The details of the actual heel is my absolute fave of the moment, click here and see why. Lastly, I had actually bought this Forever 21 purse for the Ariana Grande concert and I love that it tied the whole look together. 💖
Of course there’s nothing better for a night out than an all black outfit. Turn that into an all black jumpsuit and you can honestly never go wrong no matter what evening events you’re attending. These could also easily be styled for some fall looks. 🖤
This Femme Luxe jumpsuit is the right amount of sophistication and sex appeal by having a sleek fit with a cheeky one-shoulder style. It came with a belt, but for a more snatched waist, I decided to use this wide belt from JLUXLABEL. For a pop of color, I paired it with this cute pink snake print purse from Topshop (linked below).
Fun fact: I’m exactly 5 feet tall… so the fact that the pants of this Femme Luxe jumpsuit wasn’t dragging on the floor like other jumpsuits was so extremely appreciated. The super slinky material was super comfortable and shaped the curves just right. The deep plunge neckline gave this outfit all the sauciness needed. I kept everything else in this sleek all black look super low key. Bonus… since it’s sleeveless it’s perfect for the hot weather but then also perfect to throw a jacket on top of when the weather cools down.
