Sunkissed for the Summer

Sunkissed for the Summer

Hi Dolls!

Last weekend, my friend had a Havana Themed Birthday Party and I decided to work with tanned skin and create this sunkissed, vibrant summer look to compliment my white outfit. I wanted to share my makeup look from that night as it was also my very first attempt at Faux Freckles and I am OBSESSED with how this look came out. I do have a few freckles on my face naturally, so I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to add more freckles as a last step to my makeup routine. Check out the details below and the steps I took.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC 30 + NC 42

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

  • Raw Sienna + Golden Ochre in the Crease and slightly towards the Contour of the Nose
  • Burnt Orange + Realgar in the Crease
  • Primavera + Wet Eye Shadow Brush for the Center of the Lid and inner corner
  • Cyprus Umber as Eye Liner

TooFaced Peanut Butter & Jelly Eyeshadow Palette

  • Bananas all over the Lid
  • Spread the Love in the Crease, outer eye Lid (Yes I used ALOT of colors for the Crease)
  • Extra Creamy in the Brow Bone

Lower lash line – Spread The Love, then Realgar, then Cyprus umber in the outer lash line.

Upper Lashes Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

Lower Lashes Benefit Roller Lash Curling Mascara

Ardell Wispies with a few individuals added in the middle

TARTE Maracujá Oil

Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(MARC)able Foundation in Beige Golden + Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Tawny 3W1

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC 30 + NC 42

RCMA No-Color Powder

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

Stila Custom Color Blush in Self Adjusting Bronze

MAC Prep & Prime Fix +

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey

NARS Blush in Orgasm

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Give Me Sun,dusted all over

Faux Freckles: I first sprayed MAC Prep & Prime Fix + all over my face once more, before scraping some of the darkest powder from the NYX Cosmetics Highlight & Contour Pro Palette using the spoolie end of my eyebrow brush. I then scooped some of the powder with the other end of my eyebrow brush and tapped the powder around my nose, no need for perfection or symmetry as every freckle is unique in shade, size, placement. I then went over lightly with my foundation brush I used earlier to lighten some a bit. I used Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey for my nose highlight and then sprayed MAC Prep & Prime Fix + as a final step.

Lips: Prepped with Best Damn Beauty – Best Damn Lip Mask. NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream in Life’s A Beach + Foiled Again

I’m loving all the looks I’ve been seeing lately with the faux freckles. Will you be trying out the faux freckle trend?
