Introlift Medical Spa

Introlift Medical Spa

Hope your week is going well! We had the opportunity to visit the Introlift Medical Spa these past two weeks and each got a facial of our choice depending on our skincare needs. Introlift offers a huge selection of skin and body treatments, the full menu of which you can see here.

The inside of the spa has such beautiful decor and gives such a luxurious and relaxing vibe. If you know us, you know we LOVE marble floors!

Collagen Regeneration Facial

I’ve had my fair share of facials and I have been yearning to try something different. I decided to try Introlift’s Collagen Regeneration Facial, since I’ve been working non-stop around the clock and my skin is starting to show it.

This facial is expected to restore the look of volume in the skin while adding a glow, due to its enrichment of seaweed and collagen boosters. It also includes a light chemical peel, which I love.

My esthetician, Daniella, provided a relaxing pain-free experience. She first started off by cleaning my face and then performing extractions (which is my favorite part 🤫). If you don’t know, extractions during a facial is the process of clearing clogged or compacted pores in which the esthetician uses either their fingers while wearing gloves and usually wrapped in gauze/cotton or an extraction tool and applies gentle process to extract the contents within the pores.

I feel like most people either love or hate extractions. For me, it’s my favorite part because I know that I’m getting rid of tons of dirt and bacteria that has accumulated in my pores.

After the extraction process, she then applied a refreshing mask and peel, and then finished off the facial by cleansing my face and applying sunscreen. The entire process took about 50 minutes and my skin immediately looked plump and moisturized. No irritation and no makeup needed!

I noticed that within the following days, the breakouts on my forehead (my current problem spot) began to slowly dry up and my face still had a moisturized glow.

RF Aqua Facial Lift

To all our beauty lovers, we know you’ve definitely heard of a hydrafacial. But for those who haven’t, the hydrafacial is a skin care treatment, during which a suction machine is used to infuse your skin with several different serums and literally suck dirt out of the skin, exfoliate, and enhance circulation. This was my very first time and I was excited because it offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime and no skin irritation.

I opted for the spa’s version of the hydrafacial- The RF Aqua Face Lift. This treatment combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and anti-oxdiant protection that will leave the skin glowing, hydrated, radiant, no matter your type of skin.

The RF Aqua Facial Lift treatment improves the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and Wrinkles
  • Congested and enlarged pores
  • Oily or acne-prone skin
  • Hyperpigmentation and brown spots

Before doing anything, my esthetician, Paola, observed my skin under a magnifying glass. Just by peeking at my skin in direct light, she could feel pimples deep underneath my skin I never even saw coming. She also told me to try to not hold my phone to my face to help reduce the amount of acne I would get on one side of my face. *Sigh* the struggle!

So we started off with a calming face cleanser, steam, a couple of manual extractions and a mask. The actual Aqua Facial portion of the treatment has multiple steps, which involves changing the machine’s serum, suction tip, suction level, and application technique.

The first step cleansed and the next step was a gentle glycolic/salicylic acid peel. Then the machine acted as a vacuum for painless extractions. The final step infuses and plumps skin with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. They used OROGOLD products for the entire treatment, which they sell in the spa.

At some points, Paola uses gentle pats with the Hydrafacial machine, which feels like wet kisses lol. But when she uses long strokes during the extraction process, it eventually feels like a gentle scrape from a piece of soft sandpaper. It’s not painful in the slightest, but it does cause a tingle. It feels like a wet microdermabrasion. Lastly, she used the Bipolar Radio Frequency to stimulate the collagen fibers, causing them to regenerate and rearrange, creating tighter skin, and topped off my skin with tinted sunscreen.

Immediately after the RF Aqua Face Lift, I’m was a little more red than usual and looking very, very wet and glowy, which is entirely normal. I truly felt like my skin was fully hydrated, plump, and refreshed.

A couple days after, the underlying acne that she had pointed out to me came to the surface. Thanks to the salicylic acid in the Hydrafacial’s extraction fluid, that acne faded away after a couple days.

I loved that the whole treatment took less than an hour and that you can return to your normal activities right after since there is no downtime. I would say this is a great alternative for people who don’t like hard core extractions. She told me one treatment per month is recommended for improving the overall appearance of my skin.

If you live in South Florida, we definitely recommend visiting Introlift Medical Spa, especially if you’re in the Broward area!
